Podilskyi Tsement increases cement production

The Podilskyi Tsement cement company (Kamianets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi region), which is one of the three largest producers of cement in Ukraine, increased cement production by 21.8 per cent or 37,300t to 208,300t in June compared with June 2004.   According to a recent company disclosure, the company increased production of clinker by 14.4 per cent or to 171,670t in June compared with June 2004. 

Podilskyi Tsement operates six kilns for cement production with a combined capacity of 3.7Mta  Ireland’s CRH Poland BV owns 94.7 per cent of the shares in the Podilskyi Tsement company.
