Romanian cement producer Lafarge Romcim has installed a Euro 1.0m waste processor at its plant in Medgidia, southeastern Romania, it was reported on June 29, 2005.  The system has a capacity to treat between eight and 15t of solid waste an hour.  Lafarge Romcim has been certified by the local authorities to recycle 18 different types of waste, Lagarge’s general director Philippe Questiaux said.  Published under Cement News
