Moroccan cement maker Asment Temara, a subsidiary of Portuguese sector group Cimpor, has recently completed one of the stages of a project to increase production capacity ahead of an expected strong growth of domestic cement consumption, it was reported on June 28, 2005.  Cimpor entered Morocco in August 1996, when it took a majority stake in Asment Temara. In 1998, Cimpor created local company Betocim, specialising in ready-mixed concrete.  Published under Cement News
