Holcim Romania, a unit of Swiss cement company Holcim Ltd, will organise from June 14 to June 18, 2005 a series of training courses for 60 high school students from the cities of Alesd, Turda and Campulung in a project to develop social responsibility in the cities where the company is active.  The project, dubbed Build your Future, includes training courses by experts from local business training company Corporate Dynamics International. The courses will help students choose a career and increase their awareness of the responsibility towards their community, Corporate Dynamics International, managing partner, Decebal Leonard Marin, said.

Holcim supports the European Union Durable Development Strategy, which includes economic development, environment protection and social responsibility, the company general director, Markus Wirth, said.  The project is part of a series of social projects developed by Holcim Romania for local communities under the slogan We Care.
