UAE Ras al-Khaimah cement manufacturer Union Cement is leading talks with international companies over the purchase and installation of new cement mills at its plant in the northern area of the emirate of Ras al-Khaimah, the company’s second vice chairman Abdullah el-Syaah said in early May 2005.  The move is a part of the company’s strategy to raise its production capacity in the future, el-Syaah added. As part of the same strategy, the company recently bought and installed a new clinker manufacturing facility.  Union Cement is also planning to build new cement storage silos, el-Syaah said.  Published under Cement News
