The Ivano-Frankivsktsement company, one of the five biggest producers of cement and slate in Ukraine, increased cement production by 5.4 per cent to 115,300t in the fourth quarter of 2004, compared with the corresponding period of 2003.   For 2004, Ivano-Frankivsktsement increased cement production by 0.9 per cent to 527,600t. The company specializes in the production of cement, slate, gypsum plaster, plaster of Paris, asbestos-cement pipes, and reinforced concrete goods.
