Northern cement works under construction, Vietnam

Trang An Shareholding Co. broke ground at the weekend for a 910,000tpa cement works in the northern municipality of Tuyen Quang, Lao Dong reports. Construction of the trillion-dong factory in Trang Da Commune should take 24 months at most.  

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Construction has been told to work with the ministries of Finance and Planning and Investment to plan for the establishment of a construction group centered on the Vietnam Cement Corporation. A draft of the proposal must reach the Prime Minister by the end of March, Tuoi Tre reports.
