Akcansa interested in Uzan group ex-factories, Turkey

Mehmet Gocmen, general manager of the cement producer Akcansa, said that the company was interested in the cement companies which were previously owned by Uzan Group but taken over by the state. Gocmen furthered that they would bid for all the cement companies if they were sold as a block, yet now they are interested in some of them. According to the company executive, many domestic and foreign investors are interested in the said cement companies and Akcansa will not bid jointly with any other company.
