Podilskyi Cement plans to increase output, Ukraine

The Podilskyi Tsement company (Kamianets-Podilskyi, Khmelnytskyi region), one of top three cement producers, plans to increase production by 12.5 per cent in 2005, producing 1.575Mt of clinker and1.6Mt of cement. As Ukrainian News has reported, Podilskyi Tsement increased production by 15.1 per cent in July-September, compared with the same period last year.  

Podilskyi Tsement owns 6 cement kilns with total projected capacity of 3.7Mta and is the countries second largest producer after Baltcem (4Mta). Ireland’s CRH Poland BV owns 92.3 per cent of the shares in the Podilskyi Tsement company.
