One of the five biggest producers of cement, the Ivano-Frankivsktsement company, and brick producing company Keramik (Vinnytsia) halted operation on November 23 in protest against presidential election rigging. A spokesman for Ivano-Frankivsktsement said that the company’s work collective supports Viktor Yuschenko, and at the current moment 100 people are taking part in the action of protest against falsification of the presidential elections in Kyiv, and around 300 in Ivano-Frankivsk. "We support the decision of our city council, and the enterprise will be striking as long as needed," the Ivano-Frankivsktsement representative said. Published under Cement News
