The Russian cement industry continues to improve its perform and output data with latest figures for the first nine months of 2004 showing that 35.2Mt of cement was produced in the period, an increase of 12 per cent from the figure posted in January-September 2003. Eurocement remains the major cement maker, having produced about 6Mt of cement in the period.
