Ukraine’s cement consumption

In January-July 2004, Ukraine’s cement consumption increased by +30 per cent against the respective period of 2003. Along with that, Ukraine’s production of cement increased by +30% respectively. In 2005, Pushka Cement Plant (Kramatorsk, which is now owned by Inteko Company, Ukraine) is expected to increase production volumes by +30%, up to 1Mt.

In the first half of  2004, Ukraine’s cement producing companies sold 4.112Mt of products. At the same time, Ukraine’s cement producing companies increased sales of products at the Ukrainian market by +30 per cent against the respective period of 2003, up to 4.831Mt.
