New Orders for ThyssenKrupp

New Orders for ThyssenKrupp
01 November 2004

At the beginning of this year, ThyssenKrupp Fördertechnik GmbH (TKF BU Materials Handling), St Ingbert-Rohrbach, Germany, was awarded a contract by the company Societe des Ciments de Sour el Ghozlane (SCSEG), Algeria, for supply of a new bridge type scraper reclaimer and stacker.
The new reclaimer will have a capacity of 350tph and a rail span of 37m. The stacker capacity will be 1200tph with a boom length of 23.5m. Materials to be handled will be limestone and clay. Design, manufacture, erection and commissioning will take approximately 17 months. Erection of the machines will be a challenging task, as the machines will have to be taken piece by piece through an opening at the side of the storage building. Assembling will take place inside the storage shed, while the plant continues with its normal operation.
