Adelaide Brighton in alternative fuels joint venture, Australia

Adelaide Brighton Ltd has entered a joint venture agreement with South Australian waste recycler Resourceco to produce and market alternative fuels as a replacement for traditional fossil fuels.

The joint venture company, Alternative Fuel Company Pty Ltd, will process selected combustible construction and demolition waste (primarily timber waste) into fuel suitable for use in Adelaide Brighton’s cement kilns.  The joint venture will bring together the proven waste management and handling capabilities of Resourceco with the alternative fuel combustion expertise of Adelaide Brighton.
