Cement manufacturers are still in the spotlight of the German competition authority (Bundeskartellamt). The Bundeskartellamt recently conducted a search following tip-offs from cement purchasers according to which some manufacturers continued to apply anti-competitive market allocation and price agreements. In addition, the aim of the search was to obtain information for the evaluation of the earlier appeals lodged by companies. Published under Cement News
