Cement consumption in Brazil dropped 10 per cent in April to 2.67Mt compared to the ,month before, according to statistics released by the country’s national cement industry union SNIC. Last month’s cement consumption was up 0.68 per cent from April 2003. The volume of cement produced in April dropped 6.75 per cent to 2.63Mt from the month before but rose 1.31 per cent compared to April 2003, the SNIC said. Published under Cement News
