In April, cement production in the Ukraine rose by 23.5 per cent or 186,000t compared with April 2003, to 977,000t.  In April, cement production rose by 28.9 per cent or 219,000t compared with March 2004 figures.  In 2003, cement production rose by 24.7 per cent compared with 2002, to 8,916,000t.
