National Cement’s clinker output rose 2.74 per cent year-on-year to 2,148,184t, while cement production grew 8.5 per cent to 2,101,771t. Cement sales reached 2,079,997t, up 9.7 per cent year-on-year. The company exported 531,316t of cement for US$13.3m and 190,639t of clinker for US$3.7m. All figures are for the first nine months of 2003/04, compared to the same period of 2002/03.
