Egypt’s cement output dropped to 1.976Mt in February 2004 from 2.228Mt in the same month of 2003, the Egyptian state-run Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) said in a report.  Local cement sales fell to 1.878Mt from 1.97Mt. Egypt’s cement output fell to 16.8Mt in the first seven months of the fiscal 2003/04, ending June 30, 2004, from about 17.1Mt in the corresponding period of 2002/03.
