Adana Cimento now exports to Iraq, and plans to enter Syrian market in April this year. Oya Tokatli, deputy General Manager of the cement manufacturer Adana Cimento, said that the company exported it products to Iraq for the first time in March, and they would enter the Syrian market as well in April. According to Tokatli, the exports of Adana Cimento to Iraq amounted to US$6m. The company official also added that they targeted to increase total domestic and export cement sales to 1.7Mt in 2004, up from 1.1Mt of sales in 2003. Published under Cement News
