Logistics contract with Holcim

The Global Alliance of French transportation and logistics company Geodis and German independent freight forwarding operator Rohde & Liesenfeld has won its first international logistics contract, with Swiss cement company Holcim, it was reported on March 16, 2004.  The Global Alliance will become Lead Logistics Provider, responsible for the procurement logistics of Holcim international activities. Holcim task is to reduce the procurement logistics costs, equal to Euro 250m a year.  Geodis generates  an annual turnover of Euro3.22bn Published under Cement News
