St Lawrence Cement Acquires a Sand and Gravel Operation in Ontario.

St. Lawrence Cement has acquired a a sand and gravel operation in Southwestern Ontario. This acquisition will secure proven reserves of approximately 50Mt.

The operation will be managed by Dufferin Aggregates, a business unit of St Lawrence Cement Group. Dufferin Aggregates is a key player in the Ontario construction sector, having supplied premium quality aggregates to that market for 40 years. This acquisition will provide the company with sand and gravel reserves to supply customers in southwestern Ontario as well as its own ready-mix and construction operations in these markets.
