Private Azeri investors plan to build a large cement plant in Gazakh,  Azer-press sources claim following discussions at the Ministry of Economic Development. This private group are considering attracting overseas investors for a joint-venture project. The annual capacity of the new cement plant will be good enough to match that of the 1Mta cement plant of Garadagh Cement near Baku. Furthermore, say the investors, the market is actually big enough to support a second new plant taking into account both dsomestic and potential export sales.
