Nghi Son Cement invests U$100m for new line

General Director Nghi Son Cement Company in Thanh Hoa province, Vietnam, Ryuichi Hirai has announced an agreed investment plan of U$100m to build second production line with annual capacity of 2.15Mt, raising total capacity of the plant to 4.3Mta, becoming the largest cement company in Vietnam. The company, a joint venture between Taiheiyo, Mitsubishi and VNCC, will also invest to build a distribution station in the Central and two specialiced cement ships each to carry 30,000t cement in bulk, to central and southern markets, local sources reported.
