During January-November 2003, Mykolayivcement OJSC (Lvov region of Ukraine), one of the five largest cement producers of Ukraine, increased production by 24.6 per cent against the same period of 2002 from 633,000t to 789,000t.  The main cause for such production increase was unexpected market expanding starting from May in the Center and West Ukraine.  Specifically, according to the experts' estimations, the market of Lvov region increased approximately by 30 per cent against the last year.  Production increase was also caused by the expanding of Mykolayivcement OJSC's market share.
