PPC Botswana has scooped the prestigious PMR Diamond Arrow Award with an overall rating of 4.18 out of 5.00, the highest in the Business sector - Cement and Concrete Suppliers in Botswana. The awards are based on research conducted by PMR.africa, and the purpose is to enhance and recognise excellence in the industry.
The respondents of the survey comprised of CEOs, MDs, business owners, company directors and managers, senior government officials in Botswana. Companies and institutions were rated against the following critera: companies/institutions that have done most to enhance economic growth and development of the country, levels of managerial expertise, implementation of corporate governance, brand awareness and levels of innovation.
PPC's performance at the awards comes against the backdrop of newly improved product offerings, PPC OPC CEM I 52.5N, PPC Surebuild CEM II 42.5N and PPC Botcem CEM II 32.5R launched last year. The value proposition of the PPC OPC CEM I 52.5N and PPC Surebuild CEM II 42.5N is a significant cost reduction of concrete costs, whilst allowing builders and contractors to produce 15 per cent more concrete of equal quality or produce a higher quality concrete than what they were previously used to, using the same amount of cement. PPC has received rave reviews from clients particularly Kwena Rocla, the largest consumers of cement in the country.
