Argentina’s June shipments rise MoM

During June 2012, Argentina shipped 906,263t of cement, including exports, representing an increase of 1.9 per cent compared to May 2012, data from the Asociación de Fabricantes de Cemento Portland (AFCP) showed. However, compared to June 2011, volumes were down 1.3%.

Domestic consumption was 888,146t, a rise of 1.9 per cent over the previous month and an increase of 0.1 per cent compared with June 2011.
