Eurocement announces new expansion project, Russia

Russia's leading cement producer Eurocement plans to invest around RUB12bn (US$387.7m) to build a dry-process line at its Nevyansky Tsementnik plant in the Sverdlovsk Region, the regional government reported on Monday.

The new line will have a capacity of 1.3Mta.  The company will invest its own and borrowed funds into  construction of the project.
