Iranian output continues its upward climb as the country produced 5.6 per cent more cement in the first 11 months of the current Iranian calendar year (which began on 20 March 2012) compared to the same period of the previous year.

Production for the 11 months reached 64.1Mt of cement, IRNA reported on Wednesday. Output is expected to reach 75Mt for the full year with exports In of 12Mt.

Next year, the country plans to lift this volume by 13.3 per cent to 85Mt. By 2015 production capacity is expected to hit 110Mt.
