Uzbekistan: Akhangarancement records steady 7M13 results

Akhangarancement, part of the Russia-based Eurocement group, has reported a steady growth in its key performance indicators for the first seven months of the year.

From January to July 2013, the company produced 899,600t of cement and 678,300t of clinker, noting YoY increases of 1.2 and 13.5 per cent, respectively.

Akhangarancement is the largest cement producer in the Tashkent region and operates the second-largest capacity in the country. Its production capacity currently stands at 1.736Mta.
