PT Semen Papua set to begin construction of new factory, Indonesia

PT Semen Papua is due to start construction of Papua’s first cement factory, which will be constructed in the Paumako port area of East Mimika.

The company, which is owned by the Papua provincial administration, will start construction of the new 0.5Mta plant this year, Adolf Haley, head of the regional development planning board, told ANTARA news. Analysis of the Environmental Impact Assessment have been signed by Papua Governor, Lukas Enembe, he said.
