CIMAF to build plant in Congo

Morocco’s Ciment d’Afrique (CIMAF) plans to build a cement works in Kouilou, in the south of the Republic of Congo.

The new plant, with undisclosed capacity, represents and investment of CFA20bn (US$42m) and is expected to generated around 1000 direct and indirect jobs.

In addition, CIMAF and its parent company Addoha, intend to build thousands of social and affordable housing in the country.
