Hazemag wins large Indonesian crushing plant contract

Hazemag & EPR has received a large crushing plant contract from Sinoma International Engineering for installation at PT Cemindo Gemilang’s new 10,000tpd plant on the island of Java, Indonesia.

The crushing plant to be delivered by Hazemag consists of a large apron feeder, a wobbler feeder for pre-screening and the impact crusher which has a rotor diameter of 2.5m and a width of 3m and is the largest impact crusher from Hazemag’s product range. Another, smaller apron feeder will ensure that two different raw materials can be processed at the same time.

In addition to limestone, two different types of clay will be crushed. All three materials have been tested in the Hazemag pilot plant, the results from which determined the system concept. The mixture of limestone and clay requires the use of a wobbler feeder, which screens out the fine fractions of the materials before the crusher.

Due to the compact appearance of the limestone with large feed sizes, a heavy impact crusher was selected as a high degree of size reduction is achieved. The crusher is equipped with the GSK-rotor and the proven hydraulic impact apron support system HAZtronic, which allows easy adjustment of the impact aprons and provides a high level of operational safety. The total plant capacity is 2500tph, making the installation “one of the most powerful crushing plants in the worldwide cement industry,” Hazemag highlighted. Delivery is scheduled for the end of 2014.
