Holcim Indonesia launches new mortar product line

Holcim Indonesia has launched a new line of mortar products as it responds to changing construction requirements in urban markets. The three new products – Holcim Pasangan, Holcim Plesteran and Holcim Acian – will be marketed in the Jakarta, Bogor, Tangerang and Bekasi areas of Indonesia exclusively.

"Similar as our other products and solutions, Holcim Mortar have been through  several trials and a high standardisation process. In addition, these products are  easy to use and efficient, so it will make the construction process easier, quicker, and with an exceptional nice finish," Jan Kunigk, commercial director of PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk, said in a statement.

The three products have been designed for different applications. Holcim Pasangan can be applied to brick walls and, according to Holcim, is easy to apply thanks to its strong adhesion and a thinner mortar structures. Holcim Plasteran has been designed to plaster light brick walls, red brick and bataton and reduces fine cracks in the wall and achieves a smooth surface, the company highlights. Meanwhile, Holcim Acian can be applied to the surface of the plaster walls and concrete walls, both interior and exterior. As with the other two products, Holcim states that the product is  easy to apply and has a fast drying time.

"Holcim has always been committed to providing the best to our customers through a variety of product innovations and solutions. We are optimistic that this new product line will be accepted by our customer in Indonesia and become part of a series of solutions that Holcim delivers to its customers," the company added.
