Semen Indonesia studying feasibility of new West Java plant

Semen Indonesia is carrying out a feasibility study for a new production facility in West Java, Investor Daily reported, quoting the company's business development and strategy director, Rizkan Chandra. The study is expected to be complete by December.

Projects under construction for the Semen Indonesia group include Semen Padang’s 3Mta Line 6 at the Indurang works (due to be completed in 2016). Semen Gresik, also part of the Semen Indonesia group of companies, is constructing a 3Mta integrated greenfield plant at Rembang, in the northeastern part of Central Java, which is also scheduled for completion in 2016.
