LafargeHolcim and CDC bring low-carbon building material to market

LafargeHolcim and CDC Group, the UK's development finance institution, have announced the creation of 14Trees, a joint venture that aims to accelerate the productdion and commercialisation of Durabric, which the company describes as "an environmentally-friendly, affordable alternative to traditional clay burnt bricks".
