Poland: Beumer wins elevator order for LafargeHolcim plant

Beumer Group will deliver four high-capacity belt bucket elevators to a LafargeHolcim cement plant in Poland. As a general contractor, the steelworks company Mostostal Kraków SA has entrusted Beumer Group with the delivery of four high-capacity belt bucket elevators to LafargeHolcim Ltd's Kujawy cement plant. These systems are part of a project to improve the production and the quality of cement blends.

Mostostal Kraków SA will provide the Kujawy works with cement silos as well as the corresponding conveying technology. Beumer's high-capacity belt bucket elevators with centre distances of up to 50m enable a conveying capacity of 350tph, which is ensured by the special belt design of the Beumer steel wire belts.

The systems will go into operation at the end of 2017.
