You have many years of experience in international sales of process engineering machinery and systems. You are also confident dealing with cultural diversity and are no stranger to international business relations. If the following description sounds like you, you'd be perfect for the job:

The cement industry (or a related industry) is your home turf. You know our customers' needs and use your network to identify local contacts in order to jointly find the right solutions based on our product portfolio in cooperation with our internal partners.

You will be based at our headquarters in Darmstadt, Germany, and expertly advise your customers from there, yet you should be willing to regularly travel abroad. Along with your colleagues on site you will serve as a main contact for your customers. Your focus will be technical consultation for complex projects. In cooperation with our internal engineering and development experts you will develop system solutions and issue all respective quotes. You areas of responsibility include negotiating contracts up to the point of order completion and monitoring projects until they are handed off to technical and commercial order processing. You will closely cooperate with other internal departments on other projects.

Additionally, you will generate new accounts, open up new markets, and identify new business opportunities.

Developing and implementing individual sales and marketing strategies in order to continually expand our market share will also be part of your demanding and diverse remit.

Your qualifications

  • University degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a similar qualification
  • Many years of experience in international technical sales of machinery and systems for controlling continuous material flows and continuous weighing and feeding systems for bulk materials, dusts, fossil fuels, and discontinuous weighing systems
  • In-depth knowledge of cement industry applications
  • Solid commercial skills
  • Extensive knowledge of the market and up-to-date-knowledge of market trends and technical developments in the target industries
  • Well-groomed appearance, strong communication skills and customer-oriented demeanor, assertiveness, and sales excellence
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Structured and analytical working method coupled with reliability, authenticity, and a down-to-earth mentality
  • Sound knowledge of all common computer programs
