Senior management position

The group has an established, enviable reputation around the world as a large high quality business producing quality product and providing excellent career opportunities for executive staff. Operating at over 700 sites, this highly respected group has a new position available in Sydney, Australia, for an experienced senior manager with solid experience in cement manufacturing.

In this key management position within the company’s cement business, you have end to end responsibility from raw material to finished products. Your responsibilities are across multiple cement mills, limestone kilns and collieries.

You are responsible for all facets of the operation of the Quarries, Collieries and Cement Works including production, maintenance, technical and engineering services. You provide strategic direction as well as operational management for all the sites under your control. You are accountable for the effective use of production, maintenance, engineering and technical resources of the plants to meet short term operational targets and to facilitate the achievement of long term production requirements to ensure the despatch of finished product to meet Company and customer expectations.
You have a background at senior operational management, or general management in the cement industry. If you have proven potential, you may be an experienced works manager looking for the next step. You would enjoy being a key member of a high calibre senior management team where your contribution would be valued and respected.
