we operate a double chamber grinding mill. we have observed a very drastic effect of waterspray in first compartment on mill shell vibration and sound intensity level. the sound intensity sores rapidly on water spraying in first compartment? can anyone explain the reason behin this phenomena?

Water spray could be acting as a grinding aid?

Do you have anything which confirms the first compartment material level is lower when using water spray?  Crash stop inspections or change in mill drive power?  Production increase?
