(UPGRADING AND PRODUCTION CAPACITY INCREASE OF BIZERTE CEMENT FACTORY)

In order to achieve its upgrading program – part two (PMN II) - the BIZERTE CEMENT company intends to launch an international call for tender to engage a general contractor for the upgrading and capacity production increase of its factory situated in Bizerte, Tunisia.

The present project is on a turn-key basis and concerns the adaptation and/or the extension of all factory production workshops including all studies of engineering, supplying, transportation, tests and startup of facilities, all civil construction works, metallic framework, coppercraft, mechanical installation, tubing works, electric works and instrumentation and all other works and necessary services to reach a production of at least 1,350,000 tons / year of clinker on the basis of 330 days of operation.

The tenderer can propose an increase of the clinker capacity production to at least 1,350,000 tons / year according to the following solutions:

1. revamping of the kiln 2 only

2. revamping of the kiln 1 only

3. revamping of the two kilns

4. all other possible solutions
