HeidelbergCement reportedly considers selling Ukrainian assets

HeidelbergCement is reportedly considering the sale of its assets in Ukraine, according to Interfax-Ukraine. "HeidelbergCement is selling its assets in Ukraine. The deal is to be held in March-April of this year. The buyer will be the Ukrainian investment group Concorde Capital," said a source for the news agency. HeidelbergCement Ukraine owns three plants in the country – Kryvyi Rih, Kamyanske and Amvrosiyivka. As yet, the company has not commented on the alleged sale.

HeidelbergCement Ukraine appoints two supervisory board members

HeidelbergCement Ukraine (Dnipropetrovsk region), has appointed two members of the supervisory board, according to a company statement. Wolfram Gaertner and Robert Breyer have been elected supervisory board members for three years. In addition, Andrzej Balcerek, Klaus Schwind and Andreas Kern were re-elected supervisory board members. At the same time, Ernest Jelito was removed from the supervisory board, Ukrainian news reported.

HeidelbergCement Ukraine names Von Lingen Deputy General Manager

The supervisory board of HeidelbergCement Ukraine, based in Dnipropetrovsk region, appointed David von Lingen Deputy General Manager on 8 February 2013. Von Lingen is appointed Deputy General Manager until 8 July 2014. HeidelbergCement Ukraine appoints board chairman

The supervisory board of HeidelbergCement Ukraine has appointed Tide Silvio as the company's board chairman on 9 January, the company said in the press-release. Silvio has been elected to chair the board for three years. He had previously been a HeidelbergCement manager in Northern Russia.

Heidelbergcement Ukraine quarterly loss

For the first quarter of 2012, HeidelbergCement Ukraine (Dnipropetrovsk region), one of the largest cement producers in Ukraine, incurred losses of UAH71.595m (EUR6.7m). According to Ukrainian News, the company reported a net revenue of UAH151.569m. HeidelbergCement Ukraineended 2011 with UAH24.083m, according to preliminary data, the news service added.
