Togo-based cement producer CimMetal has placed the order for various equipment for its 2.5Mta VRM-based grinding plant at Lomé with Austrian equipment supplier Intercem. Intercem performed an express-delivery of a replacement transformer for Cimfaso in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. The original main transformer of the Cimfaso plant was purchased from a local supplier during construction work in 2014. Burkina Faso: CIMASSO plant under construction

Work is now well underway in Burkina Faso on a greenfield 6500tpd grinding plant for CIMASSO. The contract for the construction of the plant was signed in March by Kanis International of Burkina Faso and Intercem of Germany.
