Akhangarancement records production increase in May15 June 2018, Published under Cement NewsUzbekistan-based Akhangarancement has announced an increase in cement production for May 2018. The producer recorded a 2.7 per cent YoY increase to 175,024t in May, according to Uzbekistan Daily. The volume of clinker production also increased by 838t to 130,060t for the period. Plant maintenance which began in November 2017 was also successfully completed in May, including repairs to the rotary kilns and cement and raw mills by company personnel. |

Al Abbas Cement announces name change, Pakistan04 April 2013, Published under Cement NewsPakistan-based producer Al Abbas Cement has officially changed its name to Power Cement, the company informed the Karachi Stock Exchange yesterday. The company operates a cement plant in Nooriabad, Dadu, with a clinker and cement capacity of 0.9Mta and 0.95Mta, respectively.
