Indonesia state-owned cement producer Semen Baturaja reported an IDR259bn (US$19.4m) in net profit last year, ANTARA News reports. Indonesia state-owned producer Semen Baturaja’s profit declined by 21 per cent in 2016 to IDR274.09bn (US$20.6m) due to revenue growth being lower than its costs, the Jakarta Post reports. Cement consumption in Indonesia was up by 3.1 per cent in the three months to June, but the national figures belie the patchiness of regional growth. Semen Baturaja achieved a 20.66 per cent rise in cement sales last year to IDR1.46trn (US$109.32m), the Indonesian stated-owned cement company has said. Tianjin Cement Industry Design & Research Institute Co Ltd has ordered two LM 53.3+3 CS Loesche clinker grinding mills for PT Semen Baturaja in Indonesia.
