Cementos Cienfuegos reports progress rehabilitation programme

Cementos Cienfuegos SA, the largest cement factory in Cuba, is making progress in its rehabilitation, the plant's management reports. VostokCement completes repair of kiln

Russia’s VostokCement has completed the repair of the second rotary kiln at its Teploozersk facility. During two months of work, the lining was replaced, the smoke pump was repaired and a new foundation for the sixth support of the furnace was filled in. The heat exchanger has also been replaced, which will improve heat exchange in the furnace and optimise fuel consumption, according to the company.

Kiln break in McInnis Cement adds 1-2 weeks to production stop

Reports of a major kiln break at McInnis Cement’s Port-Daniel plant have indicated that the plant will see a production stop of 6-7 weeks.
