TSR % in kiln from 4.5 % to 10.%

Dear expert

 I want increase  TSR in  kiln by installation of new duct between TA duct & cooler exhaust duct (ESP vent) without effecting clinker production rate of my inline calciner kiln & seperator line kiln.

What will effect on calciner by adding extra volume of hot gas.

What will  effect on sp. heat consumption.

 Sp. power of  preheater fan & cooler vent fan

what will  effect on  feeding AF to kiln riser duct

Thermal substitution rate -TSR %- Amount of  thermal energy replaced by using of AF  to  coal consumption  for sp. heat  ( kcal/ kg of clinker) of kiln .

Dear GKS,

Increasing TRS will depends on many factors of any specific kiln, such as its alternative fuel avialability in the desired quantity ,its quality variability etc.So for any specific kiln it needs separate comprehensive study to decide its potential to increase TSR rate.
