On the back of positive net profits in 2018, Grupo Argos has announced plans to invest COP2.6trn (US$816m) in its energy, construction and cement subsidiaries in 2019. Improving its environmental performance is one area of importance to the company, which has recently opted to switch its trucks in Medellín, Colombia, to electric-powered vehicles instead.
