India's  UltraTech Cement Ltd  is building three new clinker production lines and will use Gebr Pfeiffer vertical roller mill (VRM) technology. Gebr Pfeiffer SE (Germany) and its Indian subsidiary Gebr Pfeiffer (India) Pvt Ltd will carry out the work at the Happy 3 plant where the cement raw material will be ground in an MVR 5000 R-4 mill. Cement production sees negligible growth in 7MFY23-24

UltraTech Cement Ltd has completed a 100MW solar energy project under the Group Captive scheme in the state of Rajasthan. Total cement dispatches in Pakistan rose 3.9 per cent YoY to 3.941Mt in March 2024 from 3.795Mt a year earlier, according to the All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association.
