The Port of Rotterdam Authority is trialling the use of geopolymer concrete as part of the port’s efforts to lower its CO 2 footprint. Ambuja Cements has announced plans to invest INR60,000m (US$723m) in renewable energy, resulting in green power accounting for 60 per cent of its energy requirements.
